40th Anniversary Putnam City Undefeated State Football Champs

When: 7PM Thursday October 19th
Where: Putnam City Stadium
What: $5 (cash only general admission) at the gate; we'll have volunteers at the entry in PC trucker hats handing out spirit ribbons to all alums and directing everyone to the group seating area.

Team: Show up at the game, get your sweet PC hat and we'll get you organized to go down on the field just before halftime.

Other details:
– Legendary broadcaster John Brooks (voice of the Sooners during our high school years) will emcee the halftime event.
– The state championship trophy will be on the field for the team to lift one more time.
– After the game we'll all be heading to Buffalo Wild Wings on NW Expressway and 63rd. Owned by PC '78 alum Ed Lynn and he'll put out a nice spread then everyone can buy their own drinks.
– Should be a perfect night with temps in the 70's and no rain in the forecast.
– For the first time in decades the 6-1 Pirates will be facing the 6-1 Midwest City Bombers for the conference lead… Just like old times!
– Due to the hard work of Les Miller, we have about 40 guys from the team coming, several from out of state
– We've had a great response from alums and we expect a strong turnout (way more than shown on the Facebook RSVP)
