18 May Interview with Byron Yee, Filmmaker of The Aliens
Hey everybody. I'm a little sheepish about self promoting and I'm so grateful for everyone's support. Yes, I did make a movie and now I have to figure out how to get it out there. It will take some time and effort.
Libbie Marshall is completely gung ho about doing a screening of my film in OKC at some point. It is now possible to pre-sell a screening on this site called TUGG where if a certain number of tickets are sold, then the screening happens. Since I'm in LA and a very broke filmmaker currently, I'm leaving an OKC screening to her and she has my full support. It will be at a Cineplex somewhere on a school night (Mon – Thur) and I'd appreciate whatever support you can give her when we figure it out.
Meanwhile, I'm pushing to get some media out on the film and yours truly and was able to get an old friend of mine to interview me. I could use your support in liking THE ALIENS facebook page if you haven't already, doing the whole Twitter/Instagram follow of @thealiensmovie and if you wouldn't mind sharing this article if you feel so inclined to do so.
And thanks to Ronda Comstock who I saw in ABQ on my way back to LA from the Roswell premiere. She bought me a bowl of green chili at Los Pollos Hermanos AKA Twistys and it was heartwarming to get support from a fellow Pirate. She got to see the film and wrote some very, very nice things.
Cheers, all. Don't be afraid to message me if you can lend a hand.
